A Soaking Season December 20, 2022 | 2 Comments A Soaking SeasonReturn to the banquet and take on the new wine skin!Assuredly this is an appointed time of Heaven for celebration. The revelation of multiplied blessing suddenly came to me on Sunday morning when I realized that Hanukkah overlapped Christmas this year! 8 days of celebration! Children of God, this week began with Hanukkah and a mandate to remember, revel in and rejoice over the unmatched, unlimited, never seen before power of God to bring miracles, multiply resources and set people free from enslavement to condemnation oppression! As we gathered around our table last night under the delicate glow of our Hanukkah lights our family took time to honor God for all the ways He has delivered, protected and rewarded us just this year.“Lord, I have loved the habitation of Your house, And the place where Your glory dwells.”Psalms 26:8 NKJVThis season has begun with a passion for His presence. Spiritually pull your chair up to the banquet feast and remain there. Sit in the stillness of this treasured season and absorb all that the atmosphere has to offer. Recount the past, present and future of your banquet seasons. Remember remarkable family members whose love and affirmation changed your life and shaped the path that led you to become the person you are today. Honor God for that season of time which He personally ordained for you. Then look around the room at the glory and splendor of this present day. As you take a new appraisal of family dynamics it might surprise you to discover that in this day and time God has appointed you to be that source of strength and comfort for your family. You are the chosen conduit of the Chief cornerstone! This is a soaking season as His glory drips down from Heaven and not only covers you but oils the path ahead. You are taking on a new wine skin in order to hold Heaven’s abundance. The soaking results in a strengthening of joy which we are learning to weaponize against the enemy. Your soul is soaking in such a way that it will grieve you to leave the presence of God and you will discover new ways to remain at the banquet table in all seasons.“I would have lost heart, unless I had believed That I would see the goodness of the Lord In the land of the living.”Psalms 27:13 NKJVLook back on the events of this past year. Soak in the memories of the goodness you have known. Witness how you were preserved, protected, and provided for. Recount the favor and glorious experiences released from God’s hand over your life. Return to the banquet, remain at the feast and take on the new wine skin!
