I awoke with a worship song pouring out of my spirit “you said it, I believe it, you said it it is done!…”
The Lord then focused my gaze on the nation of Israel, who they were under Moses and who they became under Joshua.
The nation of Israel was not raised to be great warriors like other nations nor were they trained in the delicacies of kingship, they were in fact raised to be subservient. Yet when they began to follow Joshua out of the wilderness they were transformed! They became something they had never been before nor knew how to be. As they followed God and came closer to His plans for them they became fierce warriors spreading terror to those whose paths they crossed. With each sweeping victory their confidence in who God was for them, the truth of His promises and what He was willing to do for them became increasingly more deeply rooted in each of their souls until the victorious rulers they became no longer even remotely resembled the whining helpless mutterers they were in the desert.
As the apostolic anointing overshadowed the nation of Israel each soul felt a deep call into purpose and found the positions they were designed by God to occupy for this great moment in history. As they learned to move with Heaven’s armies their perceptions of reality were altered. A new confidence rose up from deep places out of their spirits that directly defied what stood before them. They progressed further into the Promised Land as a people who knew what it was to win against, defeat, and drive evil from its nesting places. They understood what life was like moving with the hand of God.
We entered the “pandemic season” timidly believing Psalm 91 but now we emerge owning it!
“You will trample upon lions and cobras; you will crush fierce lions and serpents under your feet!”
Psalms 91:13 NLT
We have the victory in Jesus!!!
