Over the last several months my beloved church has flooded multiple times. Each time it has happened the extent of damage has varied but three times water has reached our sacred prayer room fully saturating the carpet. Amid numerous weather reports of record flooding in unusual parts of the country and world I’ve puzzled over the meaning of this with the Lord searching for an underlying prophetic theme. I knew He was trying to get our attention with this illustration. Yesterday the church where our homeschool group meets flooded from underneath the bathroom floor. Sewage filled the hallway and tainted the air. It was filthy. Again I sought the Lord for meaning and I heard:
“Evil is trying to flood the earth while glory is offered in such great measure that it could easily overtake the evil. You cannot control the flood. You must choose which one you want. If you deny one you will have the other. Your churches will either be overtaken by the filth of the world or consumed and bathed in the glory of God.”
Today choose on behalf of your churches that you want God, all that He is and everything He is pouring out in this earth!
Again a response came:
“You have the power with Christ inside you to BE a flood wherever you go. You will be received with sharp contrast. When you begin to speak about the things of God, His presence will flood the room, people will either run from you or be drawn to you.”
“So shall they fear The name of the Lord from the west, And His glory from the rising of the sun; When the enemy comes in like a flood, The Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him.”
Isaiah 59:19 NKJV
“from the west”, The United States of America is “the west”. The world is watching!
