Within a deep pattern worship on Sunday morning a vision began to appear. I was standing on rolling waves amidst dark clouds, wind and rain. Standing a few feet in front of me was Jesus. As I glanced upward toward Him He spoke:
“the church left the boat a long time ago not even realizing it and you’ve been walking on the waves toward Me ever since”.
Suddenly I understood the winds in my vision had a name! They are specifically the North and South winds spoken of in scripture. They are the breath of God. The North wind is assigned to bring drenching, soaking, bathing rain while the South wind brings the heat. Together as spoken of in Song of Songs they stir up the fragrance of the lush garden. I realized we are no longer in a season of refinement but of growth.
While in the development phase of growth, nourishment, compassion, gentleness and great care are given.
“You will be nourished by My goodness and loved by My heart in these days while great growth takes place in the hands of Almighty God.”
