The Turning of the Tables Is Upon Us

God is turning the tables of wealth, influence and favor

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free, and that the time of the Lord’s favor has come.””

We are anointed to be encouragers of others joy, liberators of those in bondage, we lift veils of deception off blinded eyes and break the lies that hold people in oppression. This is not the time to die for Christ it’s the time to live for him! And to show others how to live for him. This is the time of God’s favor. Look for it, expect his favor, plan on being highly favored. Proclaim this is a time of favor. God is pouring out love and affirmation from people in leadership. God is building people up in love. We are leading people to that love and the freedom in it.

We are modern day prophets we will hope against hope with you! We are called to proclaim, decree and declare this is the time of the Lords favor.

“Now the Passover of the Jews was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. And He found in the temple those who sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the money changers doing business. When He had made a whip of cords, He drove them all out of the temple, with the sheep and the oxen, and poured out the changers’ money and overturned the tables. And He said to those who sold doves, “Take these things away! Do not make My Father’s house a house of merchandise!” Then His disciples remembered that it was written, “Zeal for Your house has eaten Me up.””

The celebration:

It was Passover, a time of celebrating Gods power and deliverance from every evil threat. Jesus stepped in and took over during a time of celebration. I gave a word last fall about Esther and the fact that the enemy was not exposed and judged in the king’s court, it happened at the banquet. The Lord has reminded me of that word but added the understanding that going through court was an important step in the process. There are many legal battles being fought right now that can yield powerful outcomes turning the tables on the enemy. The celebration that follows is the time of revival we are entering into and have entered which the enemy cannot stop. It is time of Gods favor.

The Whip:
We get the impression from the other 3 gospels that Christ took action immediately but in fact He took the time to make a whip. We recently discussed how Israel issues a warning before they drop bombs. Even at Jericho they quietly marched around the city for 7 days before they took it giving people an opportunity to join them or flee. I believe that is happening now. With his own hands Jesus fashioned the tool of their destruction. It was symbolic. He drove them out like animals. The King James refers to it as a “scourge” which was a tool used by the Romans for public punishment. This was the instrument the Lord chose with which to drive out the money changers.

“The Lord of Heaven’s Armies will lash them with his whip, as he did when Gideon triumphed over the Midianites at the rock of Oreb, or when the Lord’s staff was raised to drown the Egyptian army in the sea.”

It was the hand of God himself that drove the enemy out.

Turning of the tables:
Jesus literally stepped in and turned the tables of the flow of wealth in the midst of one of the most profitable seasons for the wicked. The money fell to the floor and the enemy scattered.

The Lord came to give us the abundance of life. This is a time to live for him. We see here how passionate he feels about his people being cheated out of their wealth and his willingness to step in and turn the tables.

Dutch Sheets has been interceding for America commanding Baal to vomit up what he has stolen from our nation and Gods people. This takes it a step further. It’s not just restoring what was once yours but also what might’ve been, what should’ve been, what was promised but never happened.

In these days you will find sources of wealth being funneled to you. Every investment especially property with your names attached to will suddenly become highly valuable. God is bringing your current resources into profitable use.

“As he went into the temple courtyard, he noticed it was filled with merchants selling oxen, lambs, and doves for exorbitant prices, while others were overcharging as they exchanged currency behind their counters.”

The temple:
We are the temple of God. Jesus was infuriated about the assault on his temple watching the enemy capitalize on the needs of Gods people and their desires to honor him. It was actually an attack against the wealth of Gods people. Churches are doing this.

(The price gauges targeting those coming to the temple unprepared, they didn’t bring their offerings with them, had to buy them there)

Luke’s version (both Matthew and mark wrote about this)

“Then Jesus entered the Temple and began to drive out the people selling animals for sacrifices. He said to them, “The Scriptures declare, ‘My Temple will be a house of prayer,’ but you have turned it into a den of thieves.” After that, he taught daily in the Temple, but the leading priests, the teachers of religious law, and the other leaders of the people began planning how to kill him. But they could think of nothing, because all the people hung on every word he said.”

Luke doesn’t go into as much detail as John about what the Lord did and how he drove out the money changers but he does tell us that Jesus drove the unrighteousness out and brought the kingdom of God in through teaching.

What should we be doing right now?:

This is a time right now to prepare to teach God’s people. I feel
a deep longing for more scriptural knowledge. We must devour the word of God every single day, obsess over it, prioritize it, diligently studying every word, looking deeply into into it for understanding, discussing it among ourselves. Wealth is returning to the church right now this is a season to study and to prepare to teach.

The apostles have been put in place, the prophets have been put in their place and now God is raising up the teachers

I see wave after wave after wave after wave of blessing, glory, favor, love hitting Gods people so much so that after awhile it will completely change us.
