During the course of the morning on Tuesday I began to experience mounting turmoil. Increasingly it grew, spread and began to bare down on me and as all seasoned Christians respond to such an attack I began to rebuke and cast out spirits like desolation, discouragement, and heaviness. Ardently I continued to bind the joy and victory of Heaven to my spirit. Next, following the leading of Holy Spirit, I released these powerhouse scriptures:
“I will open rivers in desolate heights, And fountains in the midst of the valleys; I will make the wilderness a pool of water, And the dry land springs of water.”
Isaiah 41:18 NKJV
“But my horn You have exalted like a wild ox; I have been anointed with fresh oil.”
Psalms 92:10 NKJV
“Oh, that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion! When the Lord brings back the captivity of His people, Let Jacob rejoice and Israel be glad.”
Psalms 14:7 NKJV
“For by You I can run against a troop, By my God I can leap over a wall.”
Psalms 18:29 NKJV
Releasing such extraordinary promises from God transforms your atmosphere and equips your guardian angels with instructions to carry out. Finding and speaking the most spectacular scriptural promises moves the heart of God to act on your behalf.
“But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”
Hebrews 11:6 NKJV
The more astounding the promise you choose to believe the greater the Father is pleased with your faith!
As my ears heard the words of Almighty God being released from my mouth the power of the enemy began to break. It didn’t completely lift but remained at a fraction of its original intensity. I understood that it would take time for the “smoke screen” of desolation to fully depart.
After you’ve prayed in your position of authority, released God’s promises of victory, and stood in confident assurance of faith it is then time to wait and let the angels do their work.
At this point the light of hope began to shine on the path ahead and Holy Spirit reminded me of the bounty I was about to acquire as a result of facing this opposition.
“I will give you the treasures of darkness And hidden riches of secret places, That you may know that I, the Lord, Who call you by your name, Am the God of Israel.”
Isaiah 45:3 NKJV
Early in the afternoon breakthrough came and as it washed through our home I heard the Lord say: “you’ve crossed over a new threshold of faith”. Seeing in the spirit I immediately beheld the golden doorway surrounded by light and sensed the liberation of entering a new place.
In the news that evening a new name came forth, almost out of the blue, it was a name no one had considered before as if hidden until this time. If chosen, he would represent Louisiana in the highest levels of government any official from Louisiana had ever before occupied in history! I knew him to be a godly man who lead morning Bible studies with his staff each day.
Remembering only a few short weeks ago I enjoyed the honor of gathering with great prayer warriors in the body of Christ to worship and pray in the very Capitol building where these astounding events were unfolding.
It wasn’t until the next day that I began to understand my experience was not confined to the walls of my home or even my family but I was being called to join in intercession and to overcome, along the body of Christ, for my state and nation. I held fast all morning to the faith of the new place I had entered in the spirit seeing that man’s face surrounded by victory I trusted God and again released my powerhouse scriptures.
That afternoon news broke that the man from Louisiana had won! He was chosen by the hand of God, elevated and appointed to the position of destiny.
I believe the Lord would say to you today “you have crossed over a new threshold of faith!” Take the details of this experience and move with the body of Christ and the armies of Heaven from faith to faith, strength to strength, glory to glory, and from victory to victory! You are part of this battle, your role is vital, and your instructions will be carried out!
