Amid the chaos and despair blanketing all of humanity it may be hard to determine your place in it all. I spent the weekend trying to settle into it, to adjust to it, understanding that we are in a new place and must be made new on the inside so that we can navigate the path ahead. I had fallen into the trap of acceptance.
On Sunday morning during worship my spirit suddenly leapt within me as I heard the cry from Heaven: “triumph!” Prophecy erupted as the Lord began to release empowering promises to those around me speaking such things as: “break forth an impossible path for God’s people to walk through” and “you think you are going down but you will not sink, you will ride the waves”. To another the Lord spoke “a solid strength is being forged inside you in a deep place. Can you feel it? From this moment on you will not be moved but you will stand strong in faith. You will not recognize yourself, you are no longer the person you’ve been, God has made all things new! God’s people will be drawn to this strength. They need this strength now.” Throughout the remainder of the day Holy Spirit echoed the fervent command: “occupy until I come!”
As I began my day today declaring the multiple promises I’ve stood on for weeks even decades for my loved ones and myself I began to perceive the polarity between God’s purposes and the enemies threats. One gives a false expectation of desolation while the other offers triumph in glory!
Since when do God’s people, who know better, agree with what the world is projecting? We must be the counter balance!
“Satisfy us each morning with your unfailing love, so we may sing for joy to the end of our lives. Give us gladness in proportion to our former misery! Replace the evil years with good. Let us, your servants, see you work again; let our children see your glory. And may the Lord our God show us his approval and make our efforts successful. Yes, make our efforts successful!”
Psalms 90:14-17 NLT
Make this a prayer! The Lord knows your love language. He designed you to be especially blessed by His love in certain ways. His love is your joy and His joy is your strength! In His presence is fullness of joy! Receive it! This is your weapon to overtake the darkness! Bursting with love and overflowing with His joy we will conquer the darkness and retake the land piece by piece! Empowered with His prevailing joy we will occupy until He comes!!

I, too, had to ask the Lord to strengthen me for the days and years ahead. I need to be steadfast and unmovable, always abounding in the work of the lord. I also realize that I need to have everything in order. Every aspect of my life needs to be in order. Order brings strength and strength leads to his peace. And this is why I am able to say let nothing separate me from the love of God. Thank you, Daisy.
