Upon hearing the joyful jingle of a tambourine one’s spirit is immediately lifted. It is a happy instrument biblically associated with celebration.
”Then Miriam the prophet, Aaron’s sister, took a tambourine and led all the women as they played their tambourines and danced. And Miriam sang this song: “Sing to the Lord, for he has triumphed gloriously; he has hurled both horse and rider into the sea.”“

Today Lord your people will touch you and power will come out of You as in the day of the woman with the issue of blood! This year is marked by the sound of the tambourine. It’s voice prophecies justice. As the prophetess Miriam picked up the tambourine and led the women in the first ever celebration war dance before God so will we follow those footsteps this year.
Beating in the spirit is the song of the tambourine. It terrifies the enemy. Its voice sends chills up his spine!
It’s the sound of reversal! Pharaoh drowned the Israelite babies then he himself was drowned! Reversal!
