Blood Vision 10/6/24
Excitedly the boys and I shuffled across the gravel walkway of the Capital Mall grounds in Washington DC eager to enter David’s Tent. This beautiful ministry has hosted 24/7 worship on the Capital Mall grounds since 2015! Almost a decade! The Lord heavily impressed on my heart that we were to go there and sow a seed in worship, prayer and finance.
Immediately upon entering we were engulfed in deep worship. We sat down quietly desiring to blend in with the surroundings to escape to that precious place alone with God. Wave after wave of great depths of divine worship washed over us pulling us deeper and deeper into the spirit. Not wanting to leave or even move, we allowed time to stop and His presence to wash over us. To my right just outside the tent there was a group of people blowing shofars of various sizes, as each unique sound broke into the atmosphere it sent our souls deeper into the Throne Room of Heaven. I was amazed, enthralled, and then alarmed!
Suddenly I opened my eyes to a spiritual vision. I beheld what resembled looking through a camera lens covered with blood. Blood was everywhere! It was as though I was covered in it and it was blanketing the landscape, even on my eyes! I thought “blood bath”. Alarmed I sought God wondering what this could mean. Another Civil War? What was God revealing to me on this Sunday afternoon in our nation’s capital?
Hours later the answer became clear. Chuck Pierce released a word from his Sunday morning service explaining that we are learning the power of the blood of Jesus! Calling this a “bloody” season because we war covered in the protective, redemptive, restorative, reversing, retaining, retroactive blood of Jesus!
The Lord then spoke “you are not bloody FROM the battle you are bloody FOR the battle!”
We love it! Wish I could have been at the tent for that!
