We Have Been Given The Ultimate Upper Hand
“Happy are those who hear the joyful call to worship, for they will walk in the light of your presence, Lord. They rejoice all day long in your wonderful reputation. They exult in your righteousness. You are their glorious strength. It pleases you to make us strong.”
Psalms 89:15-17 NLT
Feeling a hard press in the Spirit on Sunday I began to see Americans pushing back against the kingdom of darkness with a sense of ownership saying: “this is my land, you cannot have it!”
Out of our own church I felt the armies of death being rolled back as the life of God broke forth. A new day is dawning. I witnessed spiritual visions of Americans going out into their yards shouting up to Heaven cries of “Hallelujah”!
An alluring call to worship fell the following Monday along with the verse above. From within the worship I saw a large hand come down from the Heavens and the Lord said: “My people have been given the upper hand in battle, now what will they do with it?”
“Songs of joy and victory are sung in the camp of the godly. The strong right arm of the Lord has done glorious things! The strong right arm of the Lord is raised in triumph. The strong right arm of the Lord has done glorious things!”

Upon waking Tuesday morning Holy Spirit was singing “Shout To The Lord” marking a pattern of praise. Experiencing a sense of breakthrough praise similar to what I felt over the summer standing on the beaches of Normandy I’ve felt a constant call to worship this entire week. It’s as though we are moving within a great tidal wave that is coming powerfully to invade, overtake, and transform the landscape.
Do you hear the joyful call to worship? Can you see that strong right arm of God reaching down giving you the ultimate upper hand in overcoming your situation? Can you feel the sense of breakthrough on the horizon?
