The Disruptor Anointing
““Behold, I will make you into a new threshing sledge with sharp teeth; You shall thresh the mountains and beat them small, And make the hills like chaff.”
Isaiah 41:15 NKJV
I see a disruptor anointing moving to push people out of complacency. The prophets and evangelists are the ones who move with this anointing. God has placed them in churches intentionally to activate movement. Sedentary churches seeking to settle are made to feel awkward even distressed by the presence of these two offices because they provoke people into service of the Kingdom.
The disruptor anointing alarms sinners to the point of panic.
Holy Spirit stunned me with a memory of my own salvation experience. He brought to my spirit my first vision. Suddenly I saw the Grand Canyon and realized was I on the wrong side of it. Nothing I had ever done was enough. You feel desperate. “What must I do to be saved?” I remember praying the sinners prayer over and over again for weeks because I felt Heaven come in. Then I started running after God.
This fire is falling right now. It is a disruptor anointing.
It feels like a violent ripping away of the sheep from the mouths of wolves.
The disruptor is designed to make people uncomfortable urging transition.
Listening to Newsmax last night I heard the reporter state: “Our country has moved from a defensive position to an offensive position”. Immediately I began to realize this is also true for the church! This is what revival looks like!
This moment in time for us resembles that day at Jericho thousands of years ago when the children of Israel yelled, screamed, worshipped, beat their tambourines, blew the shofars and the walls of Jericho fell! Violently they rushed in and took the city for The Kingdom.
“But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world.”
1 John 4:4 NLT
Jesus lives on the inside and He is more powerful than any oppressive environment you could enter. He will look through your eyes and break the power of any spirit that tries to intimidate you.
