August In Amber
Isaiah 45 marks this fall…
“And I will give you treasures hidden in the darkness— secret riches. I will do this so you may know that I am the Lord, the God of Israel, the one who calls you by name.”
Isaiah 45:3 NLT
As July held unexpected attacks, sudden shifts and much warfare so will August hold outlandish breakthrough, bountiful baskets and fresh revelation.
In this scripture the Lord reminds us that He calls us by name. Our destinies are personal. The attacks you’ve endured are personal therefore so will your areas of breakthroughs be personal.
“This is what the Lord says: “I will go before you, Cyrus, and level the mountains. I will smash down gates of bronze and cut through bars of iron.”
Isaiah 45:2 NLT
The month of August holds “special access”. Bronze gates and bars of iron are places that were previously impenetrable. These may be places you’ve tried for years to enter only to be pushed back each time you got close.
For some these are places you glanced toward, but seeing the block, you kept your distance. At this time, God is preparing you to enter.
““Open up, O heavens, and pour out your righteousness. Let the earth open wide so salvation and righteousness can sprout up together. I, the Lord, created them.”
Isaiah 45:8 NLT
Get ready to abound! In preparation for the coming glory use these last few days of July to search your soul. You may find parts of you still “tethered” to old ways, limited mindsets, and blockages of the past. Allow Holy Spirit to bring past conversations and statements to your mind so you can see them clearly and obtain freedom from the restrictions they placed on your giftings.
I see the color amber over August. Ezekiel explains that amber can represent the glory of God.
“As I looked, I saw a great storm coming from the north, driving before it a huge cloud that flashed with lightning and shone with brilliant light. There was fire inside the cloud, and in the middle of the fire glowed something like gleaming amber.”
Ezekiel 1:4 NLT
Having fought through the storms of July we are entering the glory of God in August.
I encourage you to finish out the month worshipping Him for who He has been to you and who you believe He can be for you!
