The Latter Rain Is Here!
Perceive! Discern! Feel! Everything around you is in a glory flux. Zechariah 10 bellows in the spirit as a banner over this time in history.
“Ask the Lord for rain In the time of the latter rain. The Lord will make flashing clouds; He will give them showers of rain, Grass in the field for everyone.”
Zechariah 10:1 NKJV
Within the last several weeks I’ve heard many personal accounts of angel sightings and I even witnessed signs in the Heavens on a late night drive home from church with my youngest son.
“From Judah will come the cornerstone, the tent peg, the bow for battle, and all the rulers.”
Zechariah 10:4 NLT
Many prophetic voices in our nation are speaking of the “tent peg” and its significance in scripture.
As we enter 2026, according to the Hebrew calendar we have already entered 5786!
The 6th word in the Hebrew is “vav”
The word “vav” means a “hook,” “spear,” or “tent peg”!
When attached to the beginning of a word, the Vav has the meaning of “and.”
At this time it is no longer “either/or” but a divine “and”.
““Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes.”
Isaiah 54:2 NIV
Voices from all over the Gulf Coast are beseeching God’s people to prepare to stretch forth into double. My pastor even gifted us with tent pegs to keep as a reminder of our expansion. In November another church along the Gulf Coast will host a conference which will begin with a prophetic cry for enlargement!
According to scripture, the tent peg is also a weapon.
“But Jael, Heber’s wife, picked up a tent peg and a hammer and went quietly to him while he lay fast asleep, exhausted. She drove the peg through his temple into the ground, and he died.”
Judges 4:21 NIV
This moment was a turning point in the battle for Israel. Following this exceptional act of bravery the Israelites pressed in harder and won the victory.
Our season has shifted from a defensive posture to an offensive, territory taking, move.
“They shall be like mighty men, Who tread down their enemies In the mire of the streets in the battle. They shall fight because the Lord is with them, And the riders on horses shall be put to shame.”
Zechariah 10:5 NKJV
A prophetic promise given in this season states: “you will outrun the horsemen”. A divine level of grace has been imparted to those who are moving so that they will begin to run with a supernatural level of spiritual endurance never seen before by their predecessors in the faith.
Can you feel the movement?
Loudly a unified battle cry is resounding in the Spirit from churches that hear the Word of the Lord. As on the day of Jericho, the people are shouting in unison while a “trumpet” sound is being released from leadership. Worship warfare is roaring in the Spirit and shaking the land.
“I will whistle for them and gather them, For I will redeem them; And they shall increase as they once increased.”
Zechariah 10:8 NKJV
Astounded as I examine the work of the Lord all along the Gulf Coast I am witnessing months, years, and decades of faithfulness rewarded personally by the hand of God with every kind of increase.
As I stood in a recent revival service I glanced across the room and my eyes were fixed on a prayer leader who had remained faithful for 22 years through the most difficult times. I saw a beautifully wrapped package in the spirit right in front of her. Not knowing exactly what the Lord wanted to do I prayed for her. Dutifully she had already prayed for everyone else at the altar but had not yet received a personal touch from the Lord. On that day the Lord elevated her in the spirit to become a walking “Kingdom Command Center!”
Earlier that week I met with pastors of another city and we began to discuss hosting simultaneous revivals. A fresh wind of the Spirit entered the room. At first it through us off and we struggled to regain the flow. Suddenly when we began to pray, people were being healed. It happened instantly and on the spot! 11 total left the meeting completed healed that night.
A divine empowerment is coming in your life giving you the grace to go further than you’ve ever been, to lengths beyond your vision, spiritual depths beyond conception, and heights you never thought possible on this side of Heaven. Arise and speak of what you see from that viewpoint. Legislate through your prayers and decrees Kingdom directives from Heaven to the earth.
Step out and feel the latter rain on your face!
