Prophetic Promises Built Into The Armor of God

Prophetic Promises Built Into The Armor of God

We are way too passive and polite when we come under attack and the enemy steals from us. I think it is because we don’t understand what is happening. You are not fighting with God. He has already given you every spiritual blessing in the Heavenly realms because you belong to Christ (Ephesians 1:3) Everything you need has been released from the throne room of God but on its way to you it may have been snagged by the enemy and held in the second Heaven. It took Daniel 21 days to receive his portion.

Can you imagine the gifts, calls, and portions that were released to your ancestors that might still be stuck in the second Heaven? You have a bloodline claim on them! We must learn to demand our portions. That healing is mine! The prosperity of Heaven is mine! Lord Jesus You are mine! I walk with You!

We have entered a time where we will plunder the enemy. Not only will we demand our portions but we will confiscate what has been held back from our bloodlines for generations. In order to do this you must understand your armor.

Ephesians 6

“A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.”
Ephesians 6:10-12 NLT

God spoke creation into existence by the power of His words so when we speak this armor over us it is there.

1. “Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth,…” Ephesians 6:14

The belt of truth surrounds us and holds us together.
-prophetic promise: “And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8:32 NLT

The truth of God sets us free keeps us free and establishes us in Christ.

“He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection.”Psalms 91:4 NLT

The promises you speak in prayer and stand on in faith surround you in the spirit like armor. Many times when I pray for people and can hear the cries of their hearts to God this is because those words remain in the spirit all around them.

2. “having put on the breastplate of righteousness,”Ephesians 6:14 NKJV

The breastplate covers and protects our hearts. This can be your actual physical heart representing your health or your figurative heart representing your emotions.

Prophetic promises: “Whom have I in heaven but You? And there is none upon earth that I desire besides You. My flesh and my heart fail; But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”

Psalms 73:25-26 NKJV & “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.”
III John 1:2 NKJV

3. “and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;”
Ephesians 6:15 NKJV

Everywhere I go I bring God’s peace.

Prophetic promises: “For we walk by faith, not by sight.” II Corinthians 5:7 NKJV

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6 NKJV

“The Lord says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you.”Psalms 32:8 NLT

“He makes me as surefooted as a deer, enabling me to stand on mountain heights.” Psalms 18:33 NLT

To summarize we trust God to lead us along the best pathway for our lives, we don’t always know what that looks like but He does. We trust Him knowing that He is good.

The prophetic promise contained in this highly valued piece of armor is much more than just causing you to bring peace and align with your purpose. Over a decade ago I was visiting the Atlantis Waterpark in Nassau, Bahamas with my husband. As we were walking around exploring I heard the Lord say “I will enable you to stand in high places” when this word was released into my spirit I experienced a shaking like a quake. Many have advanced to high places in the spirit but began to rely on their own strength instead of leaning on God. What will we do in the high places?

Moses said this about the tribes of Joseph: “May their land be blessed by the Lord with the precious gift of dew from the heavens and water from beneath the earth; with the rich fruit that grows in the sun, and the rich harvest produced each month; with the finest crops of the ancient mountains, and the abundance from the everlasting hills; with the best gifts of the earth and its bounty, and the favor of the one who appeared in the burning bush. May these blessings rest on Joseph’s head, crowning the brow of the prince among his brothers.”Deuteronomy 33:13-16 NLT

The land will work for you. You have favor where you live! “The finest crops of the ancient mountains and the abundance from the everlasting hills” represents plunder from the high places being turned over to you. If you enter by faith God will strengthen your feet to stand firm and this is where you will plunder the enemy.

4. “above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.” Ephesians 6:16 NKJV

Prophetic promises: “But in that coming day no weapon turned against you will succeed. You will silence every voice raised up to accuse you. These benefits are enjoyed by the servants of the Lord; their vindication will come from me. I, the Lord, have spoken!” Isaiah 54:17 NLT

“You have given me your shield of victory. Your right hand supports me; your help has made me great.” Psalms 18:35 NLT

God has given you His shield of victory. This shield has never known defeat. This is a shield of faith so you must speak it over yourself and believe that you are constantly under the Lords protection.

5. “And take the helmet of salvation,…” Ephesians 6:7

Prophetic promises: “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” II Timothy 1:7 NKJV

“I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13 NLT

We have shifted from prisoners of hope to children of destiny.

“And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.”
Philippians 4:8 NLT

This helmet gives us the power to take control over our thoughts and exchange earthly foolishness for the plans of Heaven.

6 “and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;”
Ephesians 6:17 NKJV

Prophetic promise: “I chased my enemies and caught them; I did not stop until they were conquered. I struck them down so they could not get up; they fell beneath my feet. You have armed me with strength for the battle; you have subdued my enemies under my feet. You placed my foot on their necks. I have destroyed all who hated me. They called for help, but no one came to their rescue. They even cried to the Lord, but he refused to answer. I ground them as fine as dust in the wind. I swept them into the gutter like dirt.” Psalms 18:37-42 NLT

7. “praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—”Ephesians 6:18 NKJV

The completion of this is to remain in the spirit at all times. This is our battle stance. We must discipline ourselves to stop and see Jesus walking with, standing or sitting next to us throughout the day and into the night. Let’s dedicate the month of February (Valentines month) as a month of knowing Jesus and Holy Spirit as constant companions.

When someone asks you how much time you spend with God each day your response will be “I’m never without Him”.
