We will examine and pull out prophetic revelation from some stories in scripture that the Lord specifically highlighted for this moment in time. This is all about the spiritual crossing over to dominate the natural. When this happens the laws of physics and nature are broken. Think of how God kept Israel alive in the desert in places where there was no life was possible!
“But Jesus spoke to them at once. “Don’t be afraid,” he said. “Take courage. I am here!” Then Peter called to him, “Lord, if it’s really you, tell me to come to you, walking on the water.” “Yes, come,” Jesus said. So Peter went over the side of the boat and walked on the water toward Jesus.”
Matthew 14:27-29 NLT
1. Your confidence is His total sovereignty over all things for you.
2. We will succeed where Peter failed and will walk in impossible places this year as we depend on the goodness of God.
Jesus was training him to let his spirit man be greater than his flesh by controlling a force in the spirit that has the power to destroy him in the natural.
“They did not remember His power: The day when He redeemed them from the enemy, When He worked His signs in Egypt, And His wonders in the field of Zoan; Turned their rivers into blood, And their streams, that they could not drink. He sent swarms of flies among them, which devoured them, And frogs, which destroyed them. He also gave their crops to the caterpillar, And their labor to the locust. He destroyed their vines with hail, And their sycamore trees with frost. He also gave up their cattle to the hail, And their flocks to fiery lightning.”
Psalms 78:42-48 NKJV
3. God conquered the religion of the land. Religion exalts itself against God. Judgement came to evil while mercy covered His people.
“This He established in Joseph as a testimony, When He went throughout the land of Egypt, Where I heard a language I did not understand.”
Psalms 81:5 NKJV
4. He will establish in us a testimony of His power and the brilliance of His plans. Mercy will pursue the beloved.
“But as one of them was cutting a tree, his ax head fell into the river. “Oh, sir!” he cried. “It was a borrowed ax!” “Where did it fall?” the man of God asked. When he showed him the place, Elisha cut a stick and threw it into the water at that spot. Then the ax head floated to the surface. “Grab it,” Elisha said. And the man reached out and grabbed it.”
2 Kings 6:5-7 NLT
5. God led the prophet to defy the laws of nature. God has unique ways of restoring what has been lost this year but we must listen to the prophets.
“Don’t be afraid!” Elisha told him. “For there are more on our side than on theirs!” Then Elisha prayed, “O Lord, open his eyes and let him see!” The Lord opened the young man’s eyes, and when he looked up, he saw that the hillside around Elisha was filled with horses and chariots of fire.”
2 Kings 6:16-17 NLT
6. The seer has the power to help others see and believe. God will give you powerful visions at this time in your life. Sharing them will restore, build and alter the faith of others until finally all of God’s people are looking and beginning to move in the same direction. God told a friend of mine over and over “do you see what I see?” God is pulling on this gift saying “seer help them see what you see!”
“When the accusers stood up, they brought no accusation against him of such things as I supposed, but had some questions against him about their own religion and about a certain Jesus, who had died, whom Paul affirmed to be alive.”
Acts 25:18-19 NKJV
“…a certain Jesus”. When I read this I sense the gravity of what God was trusting us with. God sent his people to overcome and invalidate current established religious beliefs all over the world even one He Himself had founded. Against all odds Christianity burst forth and prevailed. This is not where it ends but instead a beautiful turning point to destiny.
7. We are partnering with Holy Spirit and the multitudes of angel armies outnumbering the enemy to conquer the unknown.
When Israel left Egypt and entered the desert transition they were sustained. They entered with abundance and were not diminished in any way but sustained. When they entered the promised land and began to defeat giants and confiscate their holdings they entered exorbitant abundance. There is a big difference in sustenance and abundance.
“That night the angel of the Lord went out to the Assyrian camp and killed 185,000 Assyrian soldiers. When the surviving Assyrians woke up the next morning, they found corpses everywhere.” 2Kings 19:35 NLT.
8. The forces of Heaven will visually emerge as the dominant force in the earth.
God has poured into you everything you need to lead this new existence. He draw out faith and revelation at the proper time. Your partnership with Heaven will be such that you will reach forth and grasp Kingdom resources and pull them into the natural realm.
Both Elisha and Peter defied the laws of gravity and pressed the boundaries of surface tension.
We will see more scientists emerge with great faith to see God move beyond the laws and boundaries of science into unexplored realms.
