Can you feel the joy that is beginning to burst forth? Last week as I was reading my favorite book in the Bible, Esther, I felt a strange sensation as if the Holy Spirit grabbed my head and focused my attention on this one key moment in time. (If you are not familiar with the story of Esther you will want to read it on your own so that you can fully grasp this prophetic revelation.) As you read the story, this excerpt seems insignificant but it was actually a personally message from The Father to His people in response to their prayers.
This marvelous moment in the story was not the victory Mordecai had been fasting and praying for but it was prophesying the victory to come. This imagery was a beautiful message from God to His people letting them know the favor was already there paving the way for the victory.
“And it was found written that Mordecai had told of Bigthana and Teresh, two of the king’s eunuchs, the doorkeepers who had sought to lay hands on King Ahasuerus. So Haman came in, and the king asked him, “What shall be done for the man whom the king delights to honor?” Now Haman thought in his heart, “Whom would the king delight to honor more than me?” And Haman answered the king, “For the man whom the king delights to honor, let a royal robe be brought which the king has worn, and a horse on which the king has ridden, which has a royal crest placed on its head. Then let this robe and horse be delivered to the hand of one of the king’s most noble princes, that he may array the man whom the king delights to honor. Then parade him on horseback through the city square, and proclaim before him: ‘Thus shall it be done to the man whom the king delights to honor!’ ” Then the king said to Haman, “Hurry, take the robe and the horse, as you have suggested, and do so for Mordecai the Jew who sits within the king’s gate! Leave nothing undone of all that you have spoken.””
Esther 6:2, 6-10 NKJV
1. Mordecai was found wearing sackcloth and ashes, fasting and praying at the king’s gate. After this prophetic display of what was to come he returned to his position of prayer and seeking God because the battle had not yet been won. The body of Christ has assumed this same prayer posture of desperation before God. We can relate to this moment in time where our future hangs in the balance and yet Holy Spirit continues to inject hope into our spirits! Can you feel it?
2. The enemy was forced to publicly honor and speak the truth about the Lord’s anointed. The truth will set you free! Truth is breaking forth and finding it’s way to the surface on a grand scale that is visible worldwide and on individual personal levels. True intentions and motivations are visibly surfacing and many will harvest what they have sown. A harvest of goodness has been cultivated and is breaking up through the soil for The Lord’s servants while the enemy is descending into insanity after multiple brazen attempts to control and dominate our freedom.
3. Mordecai was being lead on the king’s horse all throughout the city while Haman walked on the ground ahead of him. This was a prophetic image the Lord put on public display for all who could see to encourage the faith of his people. Haman, the man who sat in the second highest place of authority under the king, preparing the way for and honoring the man who would soon be given his position! I believe the Lord would ask you: “would you recognize such a prophetic symbol in your day and time if He gave one?”
4. Haman’s heart was full of bitterness and hatred toward God’s people. He was blinded by this lust for control and he could think of nothing else but forcing them into submission. His brazen actions first legislating the annihilation of the Jews and second building a gallows for Mordecai’s destruction became springboards for Heaven’s army to use to place God’s people into prominence and to promote Mordecai shifting him to Haman’s position. This was one of many simultaneous moments in Bible history where the hand of Almighty God suddenly moved and shifted one into judgement while the other received justice. This is the 3rd prophetic word I have published focusing on that same theme.
5. The king told Haman where to find Mordecai. He knew his name and he knew where he was. The favor was already there for God’s plans to be carried out.
Watch for prophetic signs and imagery like this today and in the days ahead. We will see signs from Heaven indicating the favor God has placed on our lives and the prelude to the powerful shift that will take place rescuing and promoting one while judging the other. Let hope invade your hearts today as you await that same marvelous moment!
