Implantation For Impact March 28, 2023 | No Comments Implantation For Impact“Implantation”: The act of setting in firmly. Over the last several weeks the glory of the Lord has been washing through His congregations of believers. There have been outward signs but I’ve been most confident of the deep structural inner changes happening within the spirits of God’s people. He is firmly setting within us His designs of our identities and destinies so that we engage with great confidence in our purposes. In some it is a tiny seed that has been planted, in others a sprout, but in many what I see is an actual baby plant. The baby plant already resembles what it will become and its existence is undeniable. God is changing us from the inside out as what has been planted begins to expand in the depth of its roots and in height. This is a time of growth and discovery.“So Peter was kept in prison, but the church was earnestly praying to God for him.”Acts 12:5 NIVIt looked like the end, but the believers prayed anyway. Effectual, fervent, earnest prayer will always win the day!“The night before Herod was to bring him to trial, Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains, and sentries stood guard at the entrance. Suddenly an angel of the Lord appeared and a light shone in the cell. He struck Peter on the side and woke him up. “Quick, get up!” he said, and the chains fell off Peter’s wrists. Then the angel said to him, “Put on your clothes and sandals.” And Peter did so. “Wrap your cloak around you and follow me,” the angel told him. Peter followed him out of the prison, but he had no idea that what the angel was doing was really happening; he thought he was seeing a vision. They passed the first and second guards and came to the iron gate leading to the city. It opened for them by itself, and they went through it. When they had walked the length of one street, suddenly the angel left him.”Acts 12:6-10 NIVThis appeared to be an inescapable situation. One would think that only with a bigger army could Peter be delivered. But then we remember that one can chase a thousand and two can chase ten thousand!God gave the command from Heaven and every earthly force restricting Peter relented. At this moment what God had implanted in Peter’s spirit immediately responded to His move and Peter began to move with Him not comprehending with his natural mind what was actually happening. But his understanding eventually caught up with his faith!“Then Peter came to himself and said, “Now I know without a doubt that the Lord has sent his angel and rescued me from Herod’s clutches and from everything the Jewish people were hoping would happen.” When this had dawned on him, he went to the house of Mary the mother of John, also called Mark, where many people had gathered and were praying. Peter knocked at the outer entrance, and a servant named Rhoda came to answer the door. When she recognized Peter’s voice, she was so overjoyed she ran back without opening it and exclaimed, “Peter is at the door!” “You’re out of your mind,” they told her. When she kept insisting that it was so, they said, “It must be his angel.””Acts 12:11-15 NIVIt took Peter a while for his understanding to catch up to his spirit. Even the church could not comprehend what God had done. They were focused on the battle not realizing that it had shifted and it was time for their prayers to change! All of a sudden God will show up in your situation! Yielded, implanted spirits will automatically move with the hand of God right before your mind can comprehend what is happening. Follow the voice of the Lord without question. Your understanding will catch up to your faith. In the glory of His presence what has been implanted, firmly settled within you, will expand and prosper leading to a glorious outcome.
