Shift From Battle To Banquet
All of a sudden a refreshing shift has broken through. Beginning the day with warfare, expecting to pray in the Spirit until entering His presence, the Lord interrupted me saying: “stop”. With great force Holy Spirit brought this verse to mind:
“Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!”
Psalms 34:8 NKJV
Moving in this new direction I began to discern the shift from “battle to banquet”.
Having fought through the attacks of July, God’s people expected to be led to a battle but were instead led to a banquet! Heaven’s warfare strategy has changed from warfare to worship.
“You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over.”
Psalms 23:5 NKJV
Be strengthened in His goodness. Command your soul to stand in captivated awe of His glory. Receive the “new wine”, the best wine for the last portion of the year!
