The Glory Is Coming To Unusual Places
The gospel was first for the Jewish people but when they rejected it was then taken to the gentiles, a totally unprepared people group.
In these glorious days we must open our minds and hearts so we can truly walk by faith and not by sight.
“For I,’ says the Lord, ‘will be a wall of fire all around her, and I will be the glory in her midst.’ ””
Zechariah 2:5 NKJV
In the middle of the night the Lord came and impressed me with the understanding that the glory of God is falling in tiny pockets everywhere. The places He is choosing are surprising. The glory is visiting “remnant” sized, Gideon’s army sized, churches. In some cases the people will reject it, in other cases the pastor, but some are prepared spaces. Some will understand how to steward and not try to manage it.
When the glory falls there is ease of movement within the church. On any given Sunday whichever side of God the pastor speaks of in his sermon, the Healer, Deliverer, Provider, Lover of our souls, that is the expression which will manifest before the people.
Under the glory deliverance happens naturally and with ease. The gifts and offices of the Spirit move collaboratively each blessing the other.
While the glory rises the enemy will stir the complacent to resist. Some dark alignments will emerge from the shadows.
“They will act religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. Stay away from people like that!”
2 Timothy 3:5 NLT
At the last moments of sleep just before waking I saw what looked like a giant bird god. It resembled the Egyptian god, Horace. It was alive but sitting perfectly still as people moved all around. Nervously I walked around it watching it closely. I understood that it was still because the people were compliant.
This entity does not mind worship or Christianity in general. It is not threatened by those things. But it will become deeply distressed when the glory begins to fall. It will flap its wings wildly and stir the dust.
In my prayer time the Lord replaced a daily warfare scripture with a different one indicating a shift of movement. With understanding I began to sort out the differences between the two.
For years I’ve prayed: “But you, O Lord, are a shield around me; you are my glory, the one who holds my head high.”
Psalms 3:3 NLT
This verse is aligns us in a defensive, protective position of faith. As I put on the armor of God, specifically the shield of faith, I will continue to speak it in prayer but am now adding a new verse which prophesies movement:
For I,’ says the Lord, ‘will be a wall of fire all around her, and I will be the glory in her midst.’ ””
Zechariah 2:5 NKJV
Eagerly the church of God is being empowered to move! In great resilience you will burst through old boundaries. With surprising endurance you will run with the horseman surpassing even the horses!
